Maki is the leader of the 2nd largest faction of girls in middle school known as the Gyaru Group [c53]. She is athletic. According to Kazami Serika, she got ear piercings and she pierced her ears herself. [c63] She has been described by Mizusaki Arima as ‘vacuum-brains’. [c66]
Her group has been gaining power during middle school and was audacious enough to oppose Kisshouin Reika, the leader of the largest faction of the girls. They are a fan of Kaburagi Masaya, and during their 3rd year of middle school, they were always hanging around him disrupting his class. As the Vice Representative of Masaya’s class, Reika tried to stop them gently but was unsuccessful. The stress led Reika to grow a white hair, causing her to finally use The Fan on Maki. [c66][c67]
